Mini terrariums - Soleirolia
First batch of mini terrariums! At a very cute price for the first edition!
Each terrarium is a 6x3 cm glass jar with stones, activated charcoal, moss, soil and a baby plant to take care of. Each terrarium has a cork lid with a wax seal.
But do not worry it’s only for decorative purposes, not to seal the jar :)
The following plants are available:
Fern
Soleirolia - 2 units
Fittonia - Note: this jar has a glass default (light scratch), available for a reduced price
Plant care:
Do not expose to direct light
Mist when you receive it
Keep in a humid environment, be careful to not soak the plant
If you keep the lid on, it should require minimal watering through the weeks
You can use the terrarium without the lid, however it will need water more regularly
When the plant grows, you can either:
Very carefully remove the plant (with tweezers for instance) and cut the roots shorter to slow its growth)
Also carefully install the plant in a larger environment
Soleirolia:
Also called helxine, a dwarf creeping mat forming evergreen herb. This is one of my favorite herb, which prefers half to full shade to thrive.
